USA LED DISPLAY PROCUREMENT GUIDE
LED Display Suppliers in USA
Compare LED display suppliers for commercial, outdoor and live-event projects across the United States. Evaluate the exact display configuration, compliance documents, installed project cost and service coverage before selecting a partner.
Plan your USA project →Start with the project, then compare suppliers
A complete buying scope
Include the LED wall, processing, mounting, electrical work, commissioning and spare parts in the same brief. Compare all offers against that scope.
A clear local responsibility
Identify who imports the equipment, who installs it and who restores operation after a failure. A US sales contact alone does not establish local repair coverage.
Which supplier model fits your US project?
The US market includes display manufacturers, brand distributors, AV integrators and overseas factories. These roles can overlap. Ask who will sign the contract, own the system design and provide on-site service. The examples below illustrate sourcing routes; they are not a ranking or an endorsement.
Daktronics
Daktronics offers LED video displays for indoor and outdoor applications. Review its current product portfolio against your venue, viewing distance and service requirements.
Explore Daktronics displaysPlanar
Planar offers fine-pitch LED video walls, all-in-one displays and outdoor or rental solutions. Compare the proposed system, mounting approach and support scope for your installation.
Explore Planar LED video wallsLocal AV or sign integrator
A local integrator can coordinate the display with the building, electrical contractor and content system. Request relevant references, itemized hardware costs and a written division of responsibilities.
Highcolor factory-direct supply
Highcolor is a China-based LED display manufacturer. Discuss a factory-direct configuration with Highcolor and agree the US importer, compliance review, installation partner and service arrangements before ordering.
A supplier operating in the USA does not automatically mean every product is manufactured in the USA. If your tender specifies domestic content or an approved vendor list, verify the exact model and contract requirements before shortlisting.
20 LED Display Suppliers and Service Providers for US Projects
Compare LED display manufacturers, distributors, integrators and rental providers by project fit. These companies offer different purchasing and service models; inclusion is not a ranking or a statement of affiliation. Ask each supplier to confirm availability, installation coverage and the exact products included in its quotation.

Contact details checked in September 2026. Confirm the receiving address and responsible office before sending equipment or arranging a visit. For a comparable quotation, provide the screen dimensions, viewing distance, indoor or outdoor location, installation requirements, delivery ZIP code and required support response time.
Choose specifications around the American venue
Corporate and control rooms
Prioritize readable text at the nearest seat, low-brightness grayscale, quiet operation and service access. Confirm the actual pixel dimensions, processor inputs and redundancy needed by the operator.
Churches and live events
Check camera performance with the production team, rigging or ground-support design, setup frequency and transport cases. Specify who supplies spare modules and who supports an event outside normal business hours.
Outdoor signs and sports venues
Review daylight visibility, automatic dimming, weather exposure and the mounting structure. Ask the project engineer to evaluate wind, seismic and temperature conditions at the actual address.
State the available electrical service, frequency and distribution arrangement in the RFQ. Have the electrical contractor confirm input ratings, maximum load, branch circuits, grounding and surge protection for the proposed configuration. Do not assume a wall plugs into a standard outlet.
USA compliance: check the model and the installation
FCC equipment authorization
Determine the applicable FCC authorization route for the display electronics and included wireless equipment. Unintentional radiators may use Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) or certification as applicable. Request the exact-model test evidence and required compliance information; a generic “FCC certificate” is not enough.
FCC equipment authorization guidanceUS responsible party
For equipment using the SDoC route, establish the US-based responsible party and obtain its contact information with the compliance documentation. Align the importer and supplier on this responsibility before shipment.
Federal Register: SDoC responsibilitiesElectrical safety and NRTL scope
OSHA requires approval for many types of workplace electrical equipment. Ask the installer and authority having jurisdiction which listing or evaluation applies. Verify the certification mark, model and scope in the laboratory’s records. Approval of a power supply alone does not establish approval of the complete LED wall.
OSHA NRTL program FAQTreat electrical safety, FCC authorization and site approval as separate checks. Ask a qualified compliance partner to confirm the required documentation for the finished configuration, including controllers, power distribution and any radio modules.
Outdoor displays need a location-specific approval plan
Before freezing cabinet dimensions, ask the local building or planning department about sign size, placement, brightness, operating hours and permitted content changes. Confirm the structural and electrical submission requirements with the project team.
For example, New York City distinguishes sign-related permits and an electrical permit for a sign requiring an electrical connection. Its guidance also describes an annual permit for illuminated signs extending beyond the building line. This is a local example; it is not a nationwide permit checklist.
New York City: installing a signDesign for the actual site
Provide the address, elevation, fixing surface, access route and environmental conditions. Resolve structural design and landlord approval before production.
Include the approval schedule
Assign responsibility for drawings, submissions, inspections and any redesign. A factory shipping date is only one part of the installation schedule.
What determines LED display prices in the USA?
Request project-specific prices in USD with a quote date and validity period. Pixel pitch, LED packaging, brightness, cabinet construction, processing and service terms all change the cost. A per-square-foot hardware figure cannot be compared directly with a turnkey installed price.
01 / Display package
Itemize cabinets, modules, power supplies, receiving cards, processor, software licenses where applicable, mounting accessories and initial spares. Specify the active image size and resolution.
02 / Delivered equipment
State the Incoterm and named place, freight, insurance, customs clearance, applicable duties and other entry charges. Identify the importer of record and which charges remain with the buyer.
03 / Installed and operating cost
Separate structure, permits, electrical work, lifts, labor, commissioning and training. Include applicable state or local taxes, service visits, replacement freight and energy assumptions in the total budget.
Normalize the units before comparing quotes
1 square meter is approximately 10.764 square feet. A 20 ft × 10 ft active display covers 200 sq ft, or about 18.58 m². Multiply that area by each supplier’s comparable equipment rate, then add the separately quoted project costs. This is a sizing example, not a market-price estimate.
Import charges need a current customs review
Have your customs broker confirm the HTS classification, country of origin, current additional tariffs and any applicable exclusions for the entry date. China-origin equipment may face additional duties. Do not assume one tariff rate applies to every LED display, or that shipping through another country changes origin.
USITC: current Harmonized Tariff ScheduleCBP: product-specific import requirementsMake US service obligations measurable
Local response and repair
Name the service provider and geographic coverage. Distinguish a remote response time from an on-site arrival target. Confirm labor, travel, lift hire and after-hours charges in writing.
Spares and continuity
Agree compatible spare modules, receiving cards and power supplies, where they will be stored and who owns them. Ask how calibration data and replacement batch matching are preserved.
Acceptance and warranty
Define image-uniformity and defective-pixel acceptance criteria, installation sign-off and warranty start date. Clarify return authorization, international freight, repair turnaround and exclusions.
For a multi-site rollout, keep one approved configuration and document any substitutions. Pilot a representative location before releasing the remaining purchase orders. Require a handover pack with wiring drawings, controller backups and operating instructions.
LED display supplier FAQs for US buyers
How do I choose between a US integrator and a factory-direct supplier?
Choose according to your installation and service capability. A local integrator may coordinate the complete project; factory-direct purchasing requires clear ownership of importation, approvals, installation and maintenance. Compare the same delivered and installed scope.
Does every LED display need an FCC ID?
Not every authorization route produces an FCC ID. Ask which route applies to each device and request its supporting records. SDoC equipment requires appropriate compliance information and a US-based responsible party; wireless features can create additional requirements.
Is a certified power supply enough for the complete wall?
Do not treat a component certificate as certification of the complete display. Verify the finished product’s listing scope and the installation requirements with the laboratory, installer and local authority.
Can Highcolor quote a project in the USA?
Send Highcolor the project address, active screen size, application and compliance requirements to discuss a configuration and quotation. Confirm exact-model documentation and US installation and service arrangements before placing an order.
How much does an LED video wall cost in the USA?
There is no single reliable price without a defined configuration. Request an itemized USD quote for hardware, delivery, applicable duties and taxes, installation and support. Normalize area units and compare the same resolution, brightness and warranty scope.
Are permits the same in every state?
No. Confirm the rules at the installation address. Outdoor advertising, structure, electrical work and inspections may involve different local authorities and project-specific conditions.
Does a US supplier guarantee US-made equipment?
No. Verify the manufacturer and origin of the quoted model separately from the seller’s address. If the project has domestic-content or government-procurement conditions, request evidence against the exact tender requirements.
Request a specification-based quote from Highcolor
Share the US installation city and ZIP code, indoor or outdoor use, screen width and height, nearest viewing distance, content type and target completion date.
Technical brief
Include available power, mounting drawings, front or rear service access, camera use, preferred pixel pitch and the required compliance or tender documents.
Commercial brief
State the delivery location, preferred trade term, budget range, installation partner, spare-parts needs and expected local service scope. Ask for a dated, itemized proposal.
