PHILIPPINES · LED BUYING GUIDE
LED Display Philippines
Plan an LED display in the Philippines around the venue, delivery route and maintenance team. Compare indoor walls, outdoor advertising and event systems with a specification that accounts for humidity, rain exposure and service access across islands.
Discuss your specification →Choose the system for its location and operating schedule
Indoor commercial displays
For malls, offices and worship spaces, test text readability at the nearest viewing position. Confirm low-brightness grayscale, acoustic expectations and whether technicians can remove modules from the front.
Outdoor signage
Ask the engineer to assess wind exposure, mounting and drainage at the actual address. Review sealing, connector protection and the manufacturer’s humidity and temperature limits; an IP label alone does not establish storm resilience.
Events and touring
Specify cases, handling, rigging and processor redundancy. Include transport between venues, spare cabinets and camera tests with the event production team.
Select the right supply and installation team
Choose between a local integrator, an equipment distributor and direct factory supply by assigning the same responsibilities in every offer. Identify the importer, the party designing the structure and the technician who will attend the venue. A Metro Manila sales office does not by itself demonstrate support coverage in Cebu, Davao or another island.
Ask for the exact model, bill of materials, controller configuration and written substitution policy. Record who owns engineering, importing, installation, training and warranty labour so responsibilities remain clear after delivery.
20 LED display suppliers and service providers in the Philippines
Compare display suppliers, systems integrators, event-rental teams and outdoor media operators. For equipment purchases, confirm that the company sells and installs screens; for campaigns, ask about advertising space and booking terms. Contact details can change, so confirm availability and office locations directly.

Product documentation and local requirements
Check Philippine product-certification scope
DTI-BPS maintains a list of products subject to mandatory certification. Have the importer review the exact display and separately supplied electrical items against current scope and confirm any required PS or ICC route. Do not assume every modular wall is covered by an unrelated television certificate.
DTI-BPS: mandatory product certificationBuild a customs-ready shipment file
The Bureau of Customs provides importation guidance. Confirm the importer’s arrangements, tariff classification, invoice, packing details and applicable permits before dispatch. Keep the final model descriptions consistent across the commercial and compliance documents.
Bureau of Customs: importation guidelinesPrepare the site before ordering
Have the local team confirm building, sign and electrical permissions at the installation address. Include typhoon exposure in the structural review where relevant, and agree safe shutdown and inspection procedures after severe weather. Map the power and data routes, grounding, surge protection and the location of any backup equipment.
Build a complete PHP project budget
Ask for a PHP project total with the exchange-rate basis shown for a USD factory quotation. Separate equipment, import duties and taxes as applicable, clearance, local transport, inter-island freight, lifting, installation and commissioning. State whether the price reaches the port, the building entrance or the completed operating wall.
Compare equivalent equipment
Use the same active area, pixel pitch, resolution, processor, brightness requirements and spare-parts package. Specify quote validity, payment milestones and delivery terms.
Evaluate operating cost
Include maintenance, power assumptions, software fees where applicable and access equipment. Request a project quotation: an equipment-only figure is not an installed market price.
Define service and acceptance
Specify which island and city the service commitment covers, where spare modules are held and who pays freight when a part fails. Agree maintenance access, a moisture-inspection routine and a documented restart process after power interruptions. Remote response and an on-site visit should have separate commitments.
Agree tests for image uniformity, defective pixels, content playback, source switching and safe restart. Save the wiring drawings, calibration records and processor backups, and train the operator before final handover.
Philippines LED display FAQs
Is a Manila equipment quote a nationwide installed price?
Only if the written scope includes transport, installation and service at your destination. Ask for island-specific charges and attendance terms.
Does a weatherproof cabinet replace structural engineering?
No. Cabinet protection, wind-resistant mounting and safe access are separate design questions. Review the complete installation with the project engineer.
How do I compare imported and locally supplied displays?
Use the same active area, resolution, components, installation scope and warranty responsibilities, then compare the complete PHP cost.
Can Highcolor provide a proposal for the Philippines?
Share a project brief for factory-supply discussion. Agree the Philippine importer, local approvals and service arrangements before ordering.
Request a Philippines project proposal
Send the city and island, active screen dimensions, viewing distance, indoor or outdoor exposure, daily operating hours and intended content. Include mounting photographs, delivery constraints, available electrical service, launch date and the nominated installer.
Highcolor is a China-based LED display manufacturer. Discuss a factory configuration and exact-model documentation, then agree the local importing, installation and service arrangements in writing before placing an order.
